The HTC Desire 728 Ultra, being a mid-range device, surprisingly comes with a rather-disappointing 1280 x 720 display resolution. Having a phablet screen size of 5.5 inches doesn't help its case, and users are ultimately left with an unimpressive 267DPI sharpness . Needless to say, it does not compare to the 1080p phones that come aplenty in its market. A higher resolution would have allowed better enjoyment of its cameras' video-recording abilities (more on this below).

As for camera pros and cons, its 13-megapixel rear camera is a definite pro. The 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front isn't as promising as those of many competing models', but the fact that both cameras can record 1080p videos is a plus.
Aesthetically-speaking, it doesn't sport the sleek-looking metal and/or glass finish that is continuing to dominate the 2017 market. It's also quite thick at 7.8mm and as such, may not be a good match for users who like to take pride in the portability of their handhelds.

Compared to many of its colleagues, it boasts of a relatively-decent RAM size of 3GB . Its octa-core processor's 1.5GHz clock speed , on the other hand, is not as enticing.

The Desire 728 Ultra evidently sports a collection of pros and cons that's more biased towards rear camera and memory specs. Consequently, those who are highly-particular about device aesthetics and display quality would probably not find it a good match.
