HTC One Max Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the HTC One Max, by HTC

Aside from the added heft and dimension (there is a 2.61-ounce and a 1.2-inch difference between them), there seems to be only two improvements worth noting in the HTC One Max, compared to the smaller HTC One. First is the update from HTC Sense 5 to 5.5 (which now allows the BlinkFeed to be turned off). Second is the fingerprint scan (at the back, below the camera lens) to avoid having to type a password. Although it is curious that the HTC One Max is missing the Optical Image Stabilization feature found in the HTC One (which might be problematic if you are taking pictures with shaky hands while riding a camel), the rest of the changes are rather minimal: The One Max's battery has an added 100mAh (but it is bigger so it needs more juice), the HTC One had more pixel density at 468ppi (but the One Max's 373ppi are nothing to cry over), and the One Max has the 64GB memory expansion that the HTC One lacked.

Overall, the HTC One Max is an inflated HTC One, a popular phone made into a tablet.
