Huawei's Y520 is not quite what we expected from a 2014 addition to their Ascend series, offering only a 1.3GHz dual-core engine 
-- though it might suffice for an entry-level model. Its camera resolutions at 5 and 0.3 megapixels are also quite low-key, considering the competition. It also does not offer Huawei's signature Emotion UI , which would have given it a bit more spice. That said, we are satisfied with its 1730mAh battery 
, given that others in this class have sub-1500mAh power capacities.
The Y520 is not very impressive, but we might still be looking at a passable 4.5-inch basic Android.
