Although the G7 Plus is newer, it does not come with any significant difference over the G8, instead packing a nearly-identical bundle of pros and cons.
These include a fingerprint scanner located right under its 13-megapixel sapphire-lens camera, with a 5-megapixel sub-cam sitting up front. Behind its 5.5-inch 2.5D-curved Gorilla Glass screen revs a Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.5GHz + 1.2GHz) processor alongside 3GB of RAM. Its 90% (according to Huawei) metal casing also houses a 3000mAh battery and dual network antennas similar to the G8's. 4K video recording (instead of FHD) would have been nice , and though we hate to whine when a phone offers that much, the demanding techno critics in us would have expected a thinner body than 7.8mm on that kind of smartphone. But the Huawei G7 Plus nonetheless levels with many other 2015 Q4 high-end options.
