While many of its features seem to hint to a typical mid-range smartphone, the Huawei Honor 4 Play's 64-bit processor (1.2GHz, quad-core) might make it more interesting compared to most other mid-budget Androids. 64-bit processing also promises a cooler performance with less power consumption. The Adreno 306 GPU that matches its engine is also a nifty touch. Popular 2014 features like NFC and LTE connectivity are also offered by this dual SIM model. That said, its 2000mAh battery might have a pretty hard time keeping up with its features -- despite the 64-bit processing. But other than power management, the Huawei 4 Play is looking like a good purchase for techies with a relatively modest budget.
