Huawei P8 Max Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the Huawei P8 Max, by Huawei

- Analysis by KJ David

Following a recent trend in the Android market (where flagship devices are pitched with low-tier and wide-screen spinoffs), the P8max's 6.8-inch in-cell LTPS screen is a huge jump from the original P8's 5.2-inch frame. It also has slightly more muscle via the 2.2GHz octa-core engine and 4360mAh battery -- the P8 has a 2GHz quad-core processor and a 2680mAh battery respectively.

That said, its selection of pros and cons comes with a few drawbacks, too, including the reduction of its front camera resolution from 8 to 5 megapixels . The P8max's 228g weight is an obvious con as well. Nevertheless, the Huawei P8's big brother is definitely a step in the right direction for the Chinese brand.
