The Huawei P9 lite may fall off the P9's premium status by losing the dual 12-megapixel Leica-optics camera setup 
and having only 16GB of memory on board, but it is by no means a lightly-specked 2016 Android.
It is powered by a split-octa-core (2GHz + 1.7GHz) Kirin 650 64-bit processor 
and comes with 3GB of RAM . Also, while not offering the original P9's fresh (when it came out) camera technology, it lines up with many other high-class models via a pair of 13- and 8-megapixel cameras , the secondary one could have done better than a fixed-focus capacity , though.
Also among the 5.2-inch P9 lite's specs are a Hi6402 audio chip , a 3000mAh SmartPower 4.0 battery, and fingerprint-based phone security . So, its array of pros and cons may be less-appealing than the P9's, but the Huawei P9 lite is not a 2016 Android phone that we would take lightly.
