The Huawei Y6 2017 is a mid-range smartphone that puts a lot of emphasis on its battery specs. It promises one-and-a-half days' worth of use in a single charge . In addition, it claims that the 3000mAh battery retains at least 80 percent of its capacity even after 800 charging cycles. As such, it's definitely a device with a reassuring fuel reservoir. However, it still doesn't qualify to be in the level of big-battery smartphones.

The 5-megapixel selfie shooter resting on the top part of the Y6's facade is average at best. Being so, this smartphone has to rely on its 13-megapixel back camera to market its imaging profile. The fact that both the phone's front and rear ends come with an LED flash is, of course, a pro.
Performance-wise, its 1.4GHz quad-core processor is slightly-above-average. The same holds true for the 2GB RAM . This translates to an acceptable lineup of performance specs -- that is, there's nothing particularly-extraordinary about them, but they are likely not going to be a deal-breaker of any sort.

Next on this pros and cons list is the Y6's physical features. Having a relatively-promising battery clearly didn't do this smartphone any favors in this area, seeing that it's comparably-thick and heavy (at 8.45mm and 150 grams) compared to many of its rivals .

In summary, the Huawei Y6 has pretty unsurprising pros and cons for a mid-range device. Save for its 13-megapixel rear camera and 3000mAh battery, it's pretty close to most of its rivals -- making it somewhat a replaceable and unremarkable model.
