Intex Cloud Gem+ Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Intex Cloud Gem+, by Intex

- Analysis by KJ David

Probably one of the least-precious Gem models Indian brand Intex has to offer, the Cloud Gem+ suffers from cons like a 4-inch TN 800 x 480 (WVGA) screen , a 1400mAh battery capacity (the average around its release was a little more than 2000mAh), and an underwhelming 4GB memory . Its dual 2-megapixel (front and back) imaging setup is also not worth noticing, especially in the wake of 5-megapixel selfie cameras. Lastly, this tiny 2016 model only works with 3G networks , which means that 4G LTE web browsing is off the table.

While it comes with only 512MB of RAM , some might consider its 1.3GHz quad-core engine a pro, knowing that other Gem models boldly operate on single- or dual-core CPUs only. In addition, it rocks a scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 screen finish , despite its tiny size.

Overall, however, the Intex Cloud Gem Plus's thoroughly-basic mix of pros and cons might bury this gem under a ton of competing low-end Androids.
