As always, Kyocera mixes function and durability together in one device. Obviously, the Hydro Vibe was intended for outdoors: splash-ready casing, eco-mode for energy-saving and Smart Sonic receiver technology. But we are quite happy that they did not settle for a lower-end feature set as the early Hydro phones did. In fact, its 8-megapixel HD camera and quad-core processor are right on par with other mid-level Androids. Wireless charging and 4G capability are nice touches as well. With these specs and a slight touch of durability, the Kyocera Hydro Vibe might just give you the bang for the buck.
