Kyocera Hydro XTRM Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Kyocera Hydro XTRM, by Kyocera

The Kyocera Hydro XTRM is tough enough to withstand shocks, drops, dust, and even water (it can be submerged up to one meter for 30 minutes), which make it more of an outdoors-type of device. Furthermore, it boasts the Smart Sonic Receiver noise-cancellation technology for noisy environments. Most of its main features seem respectable for a mid-range smartphone, but the 5-megapixel camera leaves a lot to be desired. We imagine that outdoorsy users would naturally want to take many pictures, and a more advanced camera, perhaps an 8-megapixel or better, would have been preferable.
