Kyocera Torque Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Kyocera Torque, by Kyocera

For a rugged 4G LTE device, a 1.2GHz dual-core engine is a bit slow, but a 2500mAh battery kind of makes up for it. A military grade casing contoured with a dura-grip design as well as a scratch-resistant glass panel also find their usual places. We are also quite impressed that Kyocera equipped this one with the Smart Sonic audio technology and energy-saving battery modes, adding to its outdoor convenience. They even threw in a multi-featured 5-megapixel camera-slash-camcorder in case you want to document your adventures. We would have appreciated had they indicated the SAR for this device, though. Feature-wise is where the Torque cuts back, offering only the essentials including Google proprietary and business apps on the back of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is safe to say that they paid more attention to outdoor use rather than fancy features. But, with its name, perhaps the Kyocera Torque already told us that.
