Lenovo A Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

This 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) 2016 model, simply known as the Lenovo A, is riddled with many dispiriting cons, such as a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera , a 512MB-only RAM (1.3GHz quad-core CPU), and a sub-par 1700mAh battery that scores only 8.5 hours of talk time . Its 5-megapixel rear camera, which lacks standard autofocus , and famished 4GB internal memory might also break the deal -- if the aforementioned drawbacks don't already -- for many budget Android buyers.

On the flip side, its pros include a matte finish of either black or white, which a good number of users prefer over grease-prone glossy coatings. It also offers preinstalled Lenovo apps like SHAREit and SYNCit , for file-sharing and information backup, accordingly.

The Lenovo A's specs also include dual nano SIM card slots , but beyond that, its bundle of pros and cons likely pales in comparison to what many other 2016 entry-level alternatives offer.
