Lenovo A850+ Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the Lenovo A850+, by Lenovo

- Analysis by KJ David

While its 1.4GHz octa-core processor and Mali-450 graphics engine suggest a high-end contender, this 5.5-inch sequel to the A850 appears to pack some pretty disappointing cons. It offers a basic memory-RAM duo at 4GB and 1GB respectively. Additionally, its 5- and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) cameras also had us wondering why Lenovo bothered to rig it with an eight-core engine. The qHD (960 x 540) resolution on its 5.5-inch screen also shies of the HD and Full HD displays on many other models with a similar hardware.

At the end of the day, the Lenovo A850+'s hardware is an obvious overkill for its clearly substandard memory, RAM, and imaging capacity.
