The world's first augmented reality (AR) smartphone comes in the form of the Lenovo Phab2 Pro, which features Google's Tango AR technology that lets you measure objects or visualize how they would look in your living room, among other options.
Although its 64GB on-board memory is a slight con, considering that it could have been bumped up to 128GB (which is what several other premium models phones boast), most of its other specs are strong pros in our book. These include a large 6.4-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display , a 4050mAh battery with 2.4x turbo charging , and a split-octa-core Snapdragon 652 CPU optimized for Tango applications aided by 4GB's worth of RAM .
On the multimedia front, it touts a 16-megapixel rear camera , with a secondary 8-megapixel selfie cam perched right above its screen. It features Dolby Atmos 5.1 Audio in conjunction with a 3-microphone setup . Probably thrown in for good measure is a circular fingerprint scanner located on its rear side.
In conclusion, while its $499 initial price is not something most people can dance to, this Tango-enabled Android's assortment of pros and cons makes it sound like a definite keeper.
