Though not that tempting compared to the Pro version, the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus still sits on a higher level than the plain Phab 2 with its high-caliber assortment of pros and cons.

Among its biggest pros is the augmented reality (AR) technology , which Lenovo delivers through a sophisticated dual-13-megapixel back camera setup decorated with a Milbeau ISP and laser focusing (with PDAF light supplement) . Like its siblings, it also features a three-microphone system with 360-Voice for enhanced call audio quality as well as the Dolby Atmos audio system .

Even though it does not achieve the Pro's 1.8GHz maximum clock rate and has 1GB less RAM , the Phab 2 Plus's eight-core 1.3GHz MT8783 chip clubbed with 3GB of RAM lands it a seat among 2016-released high-enders nevertheless. Also on board is an 8-megapixel 1.4-micron-pixel selfie camera , a fingerprint sensor , and a hearty 4050mAh battery . Lastly, this Plus edition offers 32GB of memory extendable by up to 128GB and a 6.4-inch Full HD (1080p) 2.5-glass display -- the plain Phab 2 has an HD screen, while the Pro boasts a top-tier Quad HD definition.

In the end, the Phab 2 Plus is the middle-child of Lenovo's AR-enabled Phab 2 family for those who want an augmented-reality-enabled phone, but can live without some of the Pro version's premium features.
