Lenovo's entry into the smartwatch competition might sound interesting with the Vibe Band's fitness-related niceties 
and waterproof certification , but it seems to have overlooked the ability to take calls 
-- which is offered by many similar devices. Moreover, its microUSB socket might sound nice, but a 3.5mm headset jack would have been more appreciated .
The Vibe Band also settles for a 4-color (2-bit) display , though its anti-glare E Ink technology and smartphone proximity reminder add a couple more perks to its mix of pros and cons. This debut device from Lenovo might have some lapses, but it still puts the brand on the smartwatch watchlist.
