Lenovo Vibe C2 Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

The Lenovo Vibe C2 may have bumped up some specs here and there, but it still gives the same low-end vibe we got from its predecessor, with a couple of cons on the hardware front. Namely, we stumbled upon its 1GB-only RAM and 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor because, in comparison, many of its competitors in the entry-level market use quad-core chips that run at 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz.

Those weaknesses aside, this Marshmallow-sporting Android is still an upgraded version of the Vibe C, seeing as the Waves MaxxAudio sound technology and a 2700mAh battery capacity (the Vibe C only has 2300mAh) lead its pros. Also, knowing that the original Vibe C offers only 5- and 2-megapixel cameras, the C2's 8- and 5-megapixel cams end up as positive features in our book.

All said, this 5-inch HD model may not be worth calling home about in terms of pros and cons, but it sounds like a good starter smartphone for those who are new to the Android ecosystem.
