LG 109C Review & Pros And Cons

Apparently a get-what-you-pay-for type of basic phone, the LG 109C's old-fashioned pros and cons make it a phone for those who prefer the classics -- or those looking for a contingency device.

Among its cons are a 500-entry-only phone book and an unspecified (as of this write-up) battery that scores no more than 144 minutes of continuous talk time , a rarity among basic phones, which usually have long talk times. Additionally, we did not find a microSD card slot among its specs, whereas many comparable handsets support up-to-4GB/8GB microSD cards in comparison. Lastly, considering that the average stood somewhere around 0.742 as of this analysis, its 1.27 SAR rating may be something to watch out for.

As for its pros, if we can still call them that, the 109C comes with M4/T3 hearing aid compliance and a color display (some other basic candybars still have black-and-white screens). The fact that it won't break the bank also sounds relieving, especially if you are looking for a call-and-text-only device that serves as a deputy to your smartphone.
