LG revamps their budget-class Escape to fit the 2015 market, but we still managed to catch a few lapses within its lineup of pros and cons. The most disheartening one is the 1-megapixel sensor sitting atop its screen , but it could also do better than a 1.2GHz quad-core engine , though many entry-level devices run on a similar CPU chip.
As for its pros, we found the 4.7-inch In-Cell curved screen quite appealing , especially with the Android Lollipop platform on board. Its main camera (8-megapixel) also makes up for the lapses of the sub-cam mentioned earlier. LG's signature Knock Code, Soft Light, and Gesture Shot are in the mix, too.
This sequel may have taken a long time to come around, but it is a step forward for LG's Escape series nevertheless.
