Even though its cameras (3-megapixel and VGA) 
are not on par with those of conventional Androids, the LG Gentle's hybrid (smartphone plus flip phone) form factor 
itself makes it a rather interesting model, with only a few of its kind on the market as of August 2015. It introduces those accustomed to basic flip phones to the Android (Lollipop) platform , 4G LTE , and touch input via its 3.2-inch screen. Android neophytes may also opt to start it slow by navigating the phone using its classic tactile alphanumeric keypad . Its other pros and cons are obviously of a smartphone stature, including the 1.1GHz quad-core CPU, the 1GB RAM, and the 1700mAh battery, though these are rather gentle details when stacked up against those of most regular bar smartphones.
