LG Harmony Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the LG Harmony, by lg

- Analysis by Christelle Nina

The LG Harmony from Cricket comes at a budget price tag. For this fact, some otherwise-inconspicuous specs left us pleasantly-surprised. For example, its 8-megapixel main camera (whose resolution is already promising enough on its own) records videos at 1080p . In addition, the 5-megapixel front camera projects a selfie-friendly persona by advertising its Selfie light feature.

The display, on the other hand, doesn't make as good of an impression. The resolution stands at 720p, and while this is quite normal for cheaper phones like the Harmony, its 5.3-inch screen size is to blame for a sub-par 277DPI sharpness rating .

Those who are particular about performance levels may find themselves at a crossroads with the Harmony. This is because while its processor (which only has four cores ) is relatively-speedy at 1.4GHz , the device might still stutter due to the frailty of its 1.5GB RAM .

This smartphone staves off doubts in the longevity department with a 2800mAh battery . Being comparatively-bigger than most batteries in its market, the Harmony displays a competitive stance -- all while maintaining below-average weight and thickness at five ounces and 0.30 inches, respectively .

These pros and cons reveal that for the LG Harmony, battery and imaging specs reign as the most important. In a battlefield where the difference between each phone is determined simply by what they choose to prioritize, it's not hard to see how Instagram-fanatics and frequent picture-posters will find this model.
