Riddled with a bunch of primitive cons, the K3 2017 is LG's least-appealing CES 2017 release. One of its biggest setbacks is its 2-megapixel-only selfie camera , which pales in comparison to the 5-megapixel selfie shooters offered by a good number of other budget-tier models. At the very least, it comes with LG's signature Gesture Shot , snapping selfies in response to specific hand signals.
It runs on an undistinguished 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor accompanied by an equally-meager 1GB RAM , throwing itself onto the growing pile of cheap, basic Android smartphones.
Going back to the K3 2017's pros and cons, it delivers a middling 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) On-Cell display . It also packs no more than 2100mAh of battery power , though given its modest battery, it weighs in at only 132 grams -- the average smartphone weight was around 150g as of its release.
The K3 2017 is also the only phone in LG's CES 2017 lineup without a fingerprint scanner . Not that we expect it from a phone of its caliber, but hey, if the K4 has one, why can't its humble little brother? By the way, don't forget to check out some of its low-end rivals -- you may start with this list of Cheap Tracfone Smartphones.
As for storage and connectivity, it comes with a so-so 8GB memory expandable by a maximum of 32GB and reels in 4G LTE speeds . Lastly, it is only available in black , probably to hint to its utterly-basic bundle of pros and cons.

With the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ecosystem rounding out its specs, the K3 2017 undoubtedly targets novice Android users or pragmatic ones who want to keep it low-key.
