LG K4 Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the LG K4, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

A phone with virtually no appealing specs, the LG K4's offering includes a 1GB-only RAM (a common con among entry-level Androids), a primitive 1GHz quad-core CPU , and an FWVGA (854 x 480) 4.5-inch screen . It also opts for a dated 2-megapixel frontal camera , despite the steep demand for 5-megapixel selfie shooters around its release -- though selfie addicts shopping on a tight budget might appreciate its virtual selfie flash feature .

We also found the classic Knock Code phone locking feature , which lets you assign an up-to-8-point tapping pattern to protect your phone, among the K4's pros. In addition, it comes with gesture shooting (5-megapixel main camera) , which is a mid-range feature that somehow found its way into this middling 2016 Android.

Overall, the K4's pros and cons sound just about just right for the smartphone neophyte, but it certainly won't impress well-versed mobile geeks like us.
