Despite being marketed as a mid-range smartphone, the LG K5 is composed of many entry-level specs, including outright cons like an FWVGA-480p 5-inch display and a 1900mAh battery capacity that misses the then-average (around its release) value of roughly 2100mAh. Also, its 5-megapixel camera sounds unremarkable, especially when several other budget-class alternatives sport 8-megapixel main cams.
On a different note, its pros include LG's Gesture Shot feature , albeit it is delivered through a 2-megapixel selfie cam . It is also available in colors like Gold and Silver , which at least sets it apart from its mostly black-or-white competitors. And we acknowledge that, given how low-profile the K5 is, a quad-core 1.3Ghz processor with 1GB of RAM appears decent .
All said, however, the LG K5's pros and cons are all of a low-end caliber.
