LG Lancet Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the LG Lancet, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

Pitched to entry-level shoppers, the LG Lancet's pros and cons show us the two opposite sides of this blade: one dull and one sharp.

The dull edge includes its 4.5-inch 854 x 480 262K-color display , which is a rather disappointing screen for 2015. We also do not see the ambidextrous design sported by many of LG's 2015 Androids. As for the other edge, the Windows 8.1 platform rigs the Lancet with several fresh pros -- new things for LG. It brings the Cortana personal voice assistant and Windows Live Tiles to the table. It also comes with gesture shooting and a soft light function , though its cameras (8-megapixel and VGA) are nothing special.

With this kind of balance to the aforementioned cons, we might expect the Lancet alongside other entry-level Windows phones.
