LG Mach Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the LG Mach, by LG

An eco-friendly smartphone, the LG Mach has features that can get the attention of even those who are not environmentally conscious, like a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, a sleek body, 4G data, etc. Some of the features are less impressive, however, such as the front-facing VGA camera and the 1700mAh battery.

On-paper Star rating:

Let's Look at the Cons:

Is there a built-in HDMI port?:

The LG Mach can record HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) videos. Awesome! But we couldn't determine whether it had an HDMI port or not. Granted, HDMI (which lets you connect to your HDTV), is not an absolute necessity, but it seems like a desirable feature on an HD phone.

Just a TFT?:

TFT displays are ok (they used to be the best option), but in such a high-end phone, we prefer AMOLED, or even SuperAMOLED displays, known for their brightness in sunlight, richer contrast and lower energy consumption.

Unknown weight:

It's frustrating that we were not able to find information about its weight.

And Now, the Pros:

Physical slide-out keyboard:

It boasts a convenient drawer QWERTY keyboard.

Substantial onboard memory:

It features a large user memory (8000MB), but it may sometimes be better to buy a phone with an included memory card instead, since the memory card can then be reused in a future cell phone.

Good battery life:

LG says that the LG Mach provides 450 minutes of talk time. If it proves true in the real life, it may be a great advantage.

Special features:

It has the following special features: Accelerometer, Data Tethering, NFC

** This phone is also known as: LG LS860, Sprint Mach
