LG Nexus 5 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the LG Nexus 5, by LG

The second LG-Google connection seems to have concocted a rainbow of delights for avid smartphone fans, because the Nexus 5 links the Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. Even its 4.95-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display looks impressive, especially with 445 pixels per inch. It retains the 8-megapixel camera of the Nexus 4, but crams it with features such as optical image stabilization (which works on making sharp photos in shaky or low-light conditions), HDR+ mode (promises high-quality pictures even in poorly-lit areas), and the Photo Sphere mode that takes 360-degree panoramas. Several Google apps also made their way into the device, naturally, the most striking of which being the voice search feature called Ok, Google.

Unfortunately, clouds go with rainbows too, and in the case of the Nexus 5 we found two: the absence of memory expansion support (the phone comes in 16GB and 32GB variants) and the 2300mAh battery that may be a bit small for a large Full HD display. But they do not look big enough to overshadow the silver linings, do they?
