LG Optimus L5 II Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the LG Optimus L5 II, by LG

People say the original is almost always better than the sequel, but in the case of the Optimus L5 II, it is probably not. It seems to do well not only in its category but also in a head-to-head with its predecessor. In a class populated by 3.5-inchers, it boasts a 4-inch 800 x 480 True Color display (the 4-inch Optimus L5 only had TFT). It also comes with the QuickMemo app for taking notes and screenshots and it has a 1GHz processor working with the Android 4.1 operating system (other basic smartphones - the Optimus L5 included - typically have 800MHz). Its 1700mAh battery lists a higher-than-average talk time of 600 minutes or ten hours. A 5-megapixel camera, a 512MB RAM, and a 4GB storage memory complete the specs - and remind us of its entry-level status.
