LG Stylus 2 Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the LG Stylus 2, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

This sequel to the LG G4 Stylus comes with a bevy of signature LG perks, but its key pro is a stylus pen with a nano-coated tip , which LG says provides more accuracy than the traditional rubber-tipped type.

That said, something more than a 1.5GB RAM (LPDDR3) and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor would have made the LG Stylus 2 more interesting. We also expected a Full HD display resolution (instead of 720p-HD) on its large 5.7-inch In-Cell Touch screen.

As for its more-positive specs, the Stylus 2 is powered by a hearty-enough (by 2016 Q1 standards) 3000mAh battery , with an expandable 16GB memory in tow . It also complements its stylus pen support with features like Pen Keeper, which notifies you when the stylus bay is empty, and Calligraphy Pen . Finishing off its pros and cons are 13- and 8-megapixel cameras , both of which satisfy our expectations for an early 2016 mid-range phablet.
