The LG Tribute 2 (LS665) somewhat pays too much tribute to its 2014 predecessor, offering a similarly mediocre mix of pros and cons.
It brings back the first Tribute's pair of 5-megapixel and VGA cameras 
, which is just even more unremarkable by 2015 standards. For some reason, it reduced the first model's 2100mAh battery power to 1900mAh , though its claimed 960-minute talk time 
is significantly higher than the 660-minute average. The 4.5-inch IPS screen also saw no significant improvement, jumping only from a WVGA (800 x 480) to an FWVGA (854 x 480) resolution.
The Tribute 2's strong points include LG's signature 8-tap Knock Code, though it does not make this entry-level pitch worthy of any homage at all.
