LG Wine III Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the LG Wine III, by LG

The LG Wine III's name may be a bit hard to understand, but the phone promises to be easy to use. It boasts a key devoted to voice commands and the Voice Clarity mode that LG says automatically adjusts voice according to the environmental noise level - two features that were not included in the previous Wine flip phones. Its 3-inch TFT screen's pixel resolution of 400 x 240 is also slightly higher than the Wine II's (and even other flip phones in general), although its pixel density of 155ppi is less sharp than the Wine II's 225.35ppi. Its 2-megapixel camera is predictably low-tier and its 900mAh battery fetches slightly lower numbers: 280 hours (11 days) of talk time and 330 minutes (5.5 hours) of standby time. However, its 260MB internal memory is roomier than the average 100MB.

All in all, these features are probably not intoxicating in any way, but they do seem to deliver on the Wine III's promise of sweet simplicity.
