Meizu M3E Review of Pros And Cons

Somewhat a cookie-cutter high-end Android phone, at least as of its August 2016 release, the Meizu M3E lacks a 4K video recording capability and opts for a Full HD (instead of Quad HD, which several 2016 flagships boasts) display resolution , but it comes with plenty of familiar upscale specs.

First off, this 5.5-incher banks on a 1.8GHz + 1GHz octa-core processor ably accompanied by 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM . A signature Meizu pro, in the form of an 360-degree rotational mTouch fingerprint sensor joins the mix as well.

As for imaging, the M3E dedicates a 13-megapixel PDAF dual-tone-LED-flash main camera for regular shooting and a 5-megapixel FotoNation 2.0 frontal sub-cam for selfies. Tying its pros and cons together are an mCharge-equipped 3100mAh battery and a casing made of aircraft-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy .

Compared to premium-caliber models, the M3E certainly has a couple of cons to make up for, but users who want a 5.5-inch Android that satisfies more than a few high-end yardsticks should find it satisfactory.
