Meizu Pro 6 Review & Pros And Cons

When it came out, the 2016 Meizu Pro 6 skirted the fully-premium Android territory, as the only things missing from its flagship-tier specs are a 2K-Quad HD display (it has a 5.2-inch Full HD screen) and a microSD card slot . We also think it could have done better than a 2560mAh battery capacity , though the mCharge 3.0 technology aims to address that con.

Its key pro is a 10-core (two quad-core chips and one dual-core chip) processor coupled with a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and a Mali-T8880 imaging processor , which puts it in particularly-elite company hardware-wise. Also, despite its Full-HD-only screen, the Pro 6 features 3G Press , which is a pressure-sensing display technology similar to that of the iPhone 6s.

On the imaging front, it touts a 21.16-megapixel rear camera that offers both laser-aided and phase-detection autofocus , while a 5-element-lens 5-megapixel sub-camera is in charge of selfies. Topping it off is an mTouch 2.1 360-degree rotational fingerprint detector and a 128GB maximum eMMC 5.1 memory

Summing up, although its mix of pros and cons in not spotless, the Meizu Pro 6's hardware setup alone adds it to the 2016 premium smartphone catalog in our book.
