Meizu U10 Review of Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

One of the first two U-series Meizu smartphones, the U10 takes it easy display-wise, with a 5-inch HD-720p IPS display , though it dons a 2.5D-contoured glass finish . Its 2760mAh battery power sounds like a slight con as well, seeing that a good number of its mid-range rivals tout 3000mAh batteries in comparison.

As for its pros, the U10 is powered by an eight-core 1.5GHz + 1GHz MT6750 CPU and a 3GB maximum RAM . Also, it delivers Meizu's mTouch 2.1 fingerprint technology through a 360-degree print reader and it sports a 13-megapixel PDAF camera with a dual-LED flash setup . Either 32GB or 16GB of expandable (128GB maximum) storage is on board, while an anodized metal frame holds its specs together.

With a passable -- by 2016 standards -- 5-megapixel 4-element-lens f/2.0 selfie camera rounding out its pros and cons, we see the Meizu U10 as a decent mid-ranger for process-hungry users or those who love to multitask.
