Micromax Canvas Mega 4G Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

Do not be fooled by its moniker, as there is nothing mega impressive about the Micromax Canvas Mega 4G's specs, though it does have a couple of redeeming qualities.

Starting off with the cons, the Canvas Mega 4G suffers from a 1280 x 720 (HD) screen resolution , which, for us, does not match its 5.5-inch display fittingly -- Full HD was clearly the better choice, especially when you call yourself mega. It also runs on an undistinguished 1.3GHz quad-core CPU , but surprisingly comes with 3GB of RAM .

The Mega 4G's pros also include 4G LTE connectivity , which is a must-have facet that does not seem to catch on with many entry-level phone series. Additionally, it comes preloaded with the Zaza Remote app , which lets you control compatible home appliance via infrared.

In the end, while its selection of pros and cons do not contain anything worth the mega tag, the Canvas Mega 4G's RAM and network reach may be comfortable-enough for some entry- to mid-end shoppers, but it left us mega bored.
