Micromax Canvas Spark 3 Review & Pros And Cons

Though unlikely to spark the interest of users who are keen on mid- and high-range Androids, the Micromax Canvas Spark 3 somewhat fits the bill as a first-timer's smartphone -- judging from its array of pros and cons.

Its biggest setback is its lack of 4G web access , which is weird, knowing that plenty of other low-caliber 2016 models reel in 4G LTE speeds in comparison. Additionally, it runs on a basic 1.3GHz SC7731 processor with a meager 1GB-only RAM -- both tell-tale specs of an entry-level smartphone. Joining its cons is the HD-only (1280 x 720) resolution on its sizable 5.5-inch display , since Full HD (1080p) seems to fit the size more.

On the opposite corner, the Spark 3's pros consist of a tolerable 2500mAh battery that scores a whopping 1320 minutes of talk time , while the average when it came out was only around 720 minutes. Considering its modest feature set, its 1.5CC Box 2509 speakers , which promise a louder-than-average audio output, and 8-megapixel AF LED-flash rear camera also sound like a couple of perks that its entry-level clientele likely welcomes approvingly.
