Motorola Droid Maxx Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Motorola Droid Maxx, by Motorola

At first glance, it may come off as an exact replicate of the Droid Ultra, but under its back casing (which is by the way a smooth-touch kevlar plate) is a 3500mAh Lithium-Ion battery that they say can stretch the mixed usage time to up to 48 hours on a single charge. Another nice touch is the wireless charging mechanism with Motorola's portable charging pad. Game enthusiasts and multi-taskers might also be pleased with its dedicated quad-core Adreno graphics processor matching the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. But despite all that, it's hard to grasp Motorola's decision to go for just a dual-core engine and a 720p display considering its 5-inch Super AMOLED screen. Its 10-megapixel camera also stands on the blurry line between the mid and high-end imaging classes. So it fell short of the iPhone class, but that does not mean the Droid Maxx is not worth owning.
