Motorola follows up their Droid Turbo with the brand's first Moto ShatterShield Android, which, according to them, guarantees its 5.4-inch AMOLED Quad HD screen never to crack or shatter. This feature goes together with their signature water-repellent nano-coating . Topping off its external pros is the Moto Maker , allowing you to tinker with various phone details, including personal engravings and accent colors. The Droid Turbo 2 also scores high internally, with specs like a 21-megapixel CCT-dual-flash 4K-video camera and the Motorola Mobile Computing System (with Natural Language and Contextual Computing processors) at the ready. Moreover, its 3760mAh battery with wireless/TurboPower charging capabilities leaves us with no complaints on the power department. Lastly, its 5-microphone system easily challenges those of other flagships, which usually only have 2-3 mics built in.

As for its cons, we expected this flagship to be Motorola's first Android Marshmallow (v6.0) model , though version 5.1.1 Lollipop is not half bad. We also found no hints of fingerprint identification in its spec sheet , despite the technology having gained some decent footing a few months before the Turbo 2 came out.

Nevertheless, expect to see the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 among other 2015 top-tier smartphones.
