Motorola Ironrock Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Motorola Ironrock, by Motorola

This device lets you enjoy the advantages of a smartphone while utilizing the benefits of Push-To-Talk technology (they generally don't come together). Its features are not too shabby either, especially the 8-megapixel camera, the pre-installed 8GB MicroSD card, and the business-grade data security. That said, we are not impressed with the outdated Android version (version 2.3 Gingerbread).

On-paper Review score:

Pros:

Large display:

The display is rather big, with its 4.3-inch diagonal size and a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

Includes a 8GB MicroSD memory card:

It comes with a memory card: 8GB MicroSD.

High-resolution (8-megapixel) camera:

It includes an advanced built-in camera (8-megapixel)

Dual-SIM model:

It accepts two SIM cards, therefore letting you hop from one network to another if you own two SIM cards.

HDMI port:

The HDMI port will be useful to watch HD (1280 x 720 resolution) videos recorded with the Motorola Ironrock on an HDTV (HDMI cable might be sold separately).

Cons:

Ordinary front cam:

By today's standards, we demand more than just 1.3-megapixel of selfie cam resolution.

Unknown weight:

It's disappointing that we could not find its weight information.
