Truly befitting a handset that's dubbed with the "power" tag, this Motorola smartphone features a significantly more powerful battery compared to most of its colleagues . It considerably improves the original E3 model's mAh rating from 2800 to 3500. Although it falls short to its namesake, the LG X power, one can't discount the fact that packing in that much fuel at its price tag is a plus. In addition, it sports a 10W-rapid charge feature that's designed to give five hours of usage for just 15 minutes of charging -- although such a feature has increasingly grown more common in recent times.

While it pretty much just mimics the camera specs offered by competing models in terms of megapixel count, the E3 Power's maximum video-recording resolution is a disadvantage. It produces video clips with a maximum pixel count of only 1280 x 720 pixels , whereas many similar models can record to up to 1080p.

As for physical pros and cons, this smartphone enjoys the benefit of being water-repellent, brought about by nano-coating technology . As far as aesthetics go, however, it may not be your best bet. Granted, we really can't expect anything stunning from a phone in its market range, but compared to many similarly-priced phones, it packs up more thickness at 9.55mm .

It also has a few pros and cons with regards to its hardware. The original Motorola Moto E3's 1GHz clock speed is relatively-slow enough to begin with, yet Motorola decided to retain this on the E3 Power. However, it does upgrade the former's 1GB RAM to a more competitive 2GB , and likewise doubles its ROM from 8GB to 16GB .

With all things considered, the Motorola Moto E3 Power looks like it would be a strong contender if you're a battery junkie who needs as much power as possible to meet your needs. On the other hand, don't expect to be pleased if your phone's running speed and video-recording capabilities are things that you're highly-particular about.
