Motorola Moto G4 Pros & Cons Review

The Motorola smartphone lineup may now be under Lenovo's wing, but the 2016 Moto G4 brings back some familiar Motorola pros and cons.

Among its slight drawbacks are a Full-HD-only maximum video recording resolution and a 2GB RAM , since we think a 4K video capability and a 3GB RAM sound like better accompaniments for its Motorola Mobile Computing System -- a setup composed of a 1.5GHz eight-core processor and a 550MHz Adreno 405 GPU .

The G4's specs also include a 3000mAh battery aided by the TurboPower technology , promising 6 more hours of battery life under just 15 minutes of charging. Moreover, it sports a water-repellent nano coating and can be decked out in various skins using Motorola's Moto Maker . Our verdict: the Motorola Moto G4 misses on a full-blown high-end feature set, but it is definitely more than your average mid-ranger.
