Though it does not add 4K video recording nor a Quad HD (2160p) screen resolution to the plain G4's specs, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus comes with a few pluses over its sibling nonetheless.

Among its selling points are Motorola's signature water-repellent nano-coating and Moto Maker option that lets you choose from various color schemes and even have your name engraved on the rear. In charge of processing is its Motorola Mobile Computing System, composed of a 1.5GHz octa-core engine , an Adreno 405 GPU , and a whopping 4GB RAM . Moreover, it brings back the Moto G4's 3000mAh TurboPower battery .

Adding to its selection of pros and cons are a 16-megapixel camera with both phase-detection and laser autofocus , a 5-megapixel selfie cam with a screen flash function and an upscale 64GB memory .

In essence, the Moto G4 Plus rightfully claims a spot among other high-tier 2016 Androids, but it does not deliver the premium feature set that we expected form the fourth generation of the flagship Moto G series.
