Motorola G2 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Motorola G2, by Motorola

The name and retail price might confuse you, as this 2014 Android from Motorola is still called the Moto G (2nd-gen), and is still speculated to go out for roughly $180.00. That said, their second Moto G model does pack some improvements over the first one: larger screen (5-inch), higher camera resolutions (8- and 2-megapixel) and interchangeable shells. We also appreciate that Motorola finally scrapped the lack of memory expansion support - the 2nd-gen Moto G supports up to 32GB. We would have loved it more, had it featured a 1080p screen and FHD video-recording, though. Anyhow, Moto G2 (or something along those lines) might have made a fitting name, as this 2nd-gen Moto G is still an overall improvement over the first one.
