Motorola Moto M Pros & Cons Review

Despite missing out on some premium-class pros, such as a QHD-1440p screen resolution , the 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) Motorola Moto M packs some pretty heavy artillery when it comes to hardware and multimedia.

First off, it boasts a rather fresh MediaTek Helio P15 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz , which is bundled with a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and a Mali T860 MP2 graphics engine . It also touts a high-caliber 16-megapixel 1-micron-pixel PDAF camera with a dual-LED CCT (correlated color temperature) flash , although its lack of 4K imaging is an obvious con for any 2016 high-end contender.

Its other specifications include a fingerprint reader , which sits right below its rear camera, the Dolby Atmos audio system , and Motorola's signature spill-resistant, all-metal design . We also caught an LTE Cat 6 adapter promising up to 300Mbps data rates , a passable 3050mAh battery , and an 8-megapixel 1.12-micron-pixel selfie camera amidst its pros and cons. While it only comes with 32GB of inbuilt memory (some of its high-level rivals come with 64GB or 128GB storage caps in comparison), its support for 128GB microSD cards sounds relieving.

In essence, the Moto M passes up on a premium screen and UHD imaging, but its high-octane hardware setup could be enough to attract the flagship Android shopper.
