Motorola Moto X 2014 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Motorola Moto X 2014, by Motorola

Motorola seems to have lacked inspiration on naming their phones, but this 2014 return of the Moto X comes with overall enhancements of their previous model, which could have deserved a completly new name. Among those improvements is the jump to a 4K 13-megapixel camera from 1080p on a 10-megapixel snapper. Additionally, its larger (5.2-inch) screen now stands at a FullHD 1080p resolution, with a pixel density (433ppi) passing the premium-end 400ppi-mark. They also fronted it with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.0 panel. As for appearances, Motorola added something new to its back finish, this time offering Horween-made leathers and patterned wood grains along with several other colored designs. The lack of a microSD card slot remains an obvious setback, but at least it caps off at 16GB. The 2014 Moto X's spec sheet suggests another high-end shelf for a Motorola Android.
