Motorola Moto Z Force Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Though the Motorola Moto Z Force does not necessarily come with a stronger processing force than the plain Moto Z, still running on the 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 chip with 4GB of RAM as well as Natural Language and Contextual Computing processors , some of its specs make it an overall step-up model.

Before we explore its pros, however, it is important to note that the Z Force's 5-megapixel selfie camera and 3500mAh battery capacity might turn out to be cons, considering that some other premium Androids boast higher-resolution front cams and skirt the 4000mAh territory.

Those setbacks aside, this 5.5-inch Quad HD flagship introduces Moto Mods to the mobile world, which basically allows it to function as various gadgets, such as speakers or projectors (more mods to come, according to Motorola), via various interchangeable magnetic backs. Also, it shows off a 21-megapixel 4K-video camera with both phase-detection and laser autofocus types as well as a CCT-dual-LED flash (color correlated temperature) on board. Perks like a 4-microphone system and a fingerprint detector also deck out this high-ranking Moto model.

Looking back at what its pros and cons reveal, we would not call the Moto Z Force a flawless Android, but it is surely one of the most-progressive phones Motorola -- or should we say, Lenovo? -- ever produced.
