Motorola RAZR D3 Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the Motorola RAZR D3, by Motorola

The Motorola RAZR D3 offers decent specifications for a smartphone: A dual-core CPU, a 1GB RAM, and a scratch-resistant 4-inch touchscreen. That said, its 8-megapixel camera stands-out from the rest, with its advanced photography features (HDR and BSI). On the other hand, we are disappointed that 4G technology was not included.

On-paper Review rating:

Cons:

Which touch-screen technology?:

Is the touch screen capacitive or resistive? We didn't find the information.

Where is the HDMI port?:

The RAZR D3 can record fancy (1280 x 720 pixels) videos. Great! But we couldn't confirm whether it had an HDMI port or not. HDMI, which lets you connect to an HDTV, is not essential, but would be great on an HD phone.

Sub-standard selfie cam:

In 2024, we would expect more than only 1.2-megapixel of selfie camera resolution.

Unknown weight:

It's disappointing that we were not able to find information about its weight.

And Now, the Pros:

8-megapixel camera:

Superior photo resolution - 8-megapixel - with these features: Auto-focus.

Dual SIM cards:

With its two (2) SIM card slots, you can swtich between two network cards on the fly.

Other notable features:

It has the following special features: Accelerometer, Dual-SIM, NFC, Proximity Sensor, Wi-Fi Direct

** This phone is also known as: Moto RAZR D1
