For expediency's sake, we decided to start off by listing the features that the Nokia 106 does not have: a camera, a music player (but there is an FM radio), memory expansion support, and internet capability. But then again, the basic phone - which weighs a mere 2.61 ounces, for obvious reasons - never claimed to be a smartphone, did it? What it does have are a screen (of course) that measures 1.8 inches diagonally and has a pixel resolution of 160 x 128, 384kB of RAM, and an 800mAh battery that can last 35 days or 840 hours on standby (which may not be that impressive considering the lack of features). It also boasts of its changeable red, white, and black shells and its dust- and splash-proof keymat. People who have disdain for technology but still need to be connected will probably understand its appeal.
