Nokia Lumia 530 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Nokia Lumia 530, by Nokia

The 2014 Nokia Lumia 530 appears to be a decent follow-up to the series, as it targets a mid-range market... but with a slight touch of the high-end. The things that got our attention were a quad-core processor and its support for up to 128GB, the latter of which is usually found on high-end models. We also appreciate that Nokia spices it up a tad with 15GB of cloud storage via OneDrive.

As for the drawbacks, the Lumia 530 only offers a 512MB RAM, and a pretty low-resolution 480p video recording (5-megapixel camera). It also does not have a selfie cam, as expected out of a 2014 Lumia model. Looking at the Lumia series in general, we might need better - not more - models like the 530.
